Managing Saved Ranges
In addition to Range Aliases in Slice you can save ranges which will then be available in a dropdown from the player ranges like this (just click on the blue range name to append it to the players currently defined range):

There are a few very basic ranges included with Slice but to take full advantage of the ranges you'll want to define some of your own. I'll walk through how to create and manage your own ranges below.
To bring up the saved ranges dialog hit Ctrl+Shift+M or select the Manage->Saved Ranges... option from the Tools menu:

The saved ranges dialog looks like:

Defining some new ranges
Let's say you'd like to create some saved ranges for all positions at a 6 max Omaha table. Start out by expanding the 4 card : Omaha group and click the New Group/New Folder button at the top (or right click the Omaha group and select Create A New Group ) . This will add a new folder like so:

Click on the name and rename it to 6-max:

Now follow the same procedure and add new groups for the 6 positions under the 6 max group so you have something that looks like this:

You can now add new ranges to all your subgroups: below I've shown adding a LAG players range to the UTG folder:

Now click the save Icon at the top the dialog and you'll see your new ranges are available in the drop down from players ranges.
