Database Integration

Slice can retrieve marked hands (HoldEmManager) or hands that you have made notes on (PokerTracker3) allowing you to analyze hands that you have played.

To connect to a database select the Tools->Database->Connect To Database...  menu option:

This will bring up a window like the one below.  Slice has common default values set for most of the parameters but you may need to  adjust them for your personal set up.  Once you have your database parameters set up (PT3 users note that the default password for the Poker Tracker database is dbpass rather than postgrespass!), click the Connect  and any available poker databases will show up in the database list.  Highlight the one that you want to connect to and click OK:

If everything goes okay you should see a new window with a list of all the marked/noted hands from the database along with a bit of information about the hand:

Double clicking a row in the list, or highlighting it and clicking Load Selected will load the hand into Slice.  You can then close the Marked Hands window or leave it open.  Once you are connected to a database you can bring up the marked hands dialog at any time by hitting CTRL+M or from the Tools->Database->Show Marked Hands Window menu option.
